The purple color of the door as well as its arc form gave the gallery its name.

The gallery constantly hosts art works of Nira Schwartz, Betty Rubinshtein ,

Julia Zisman, Maria Denenberg, Sveta Esser, Ronit Novick, Analia Magen, Alex Pauker, Pavel Zehnbacht, Igor Lazarev, Sergei Shnizer and other invited artists.

Those artists present their works in the gallery for one to two months.
